On March 15, the EuroChangeMakers #euroCM 18-month initiative, organized by GEYC as part of the ‘Europe for Citizens' initiative, Civil Society Projects, officially began.
EuroChangeMakers was created in response to the recent issues of democratic engagement in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, and it intends to:

- engage approximately 300 citizens from all 18 project nations in national civic hackathons to talk, reflect, and propose tangible solutions for Europe's future;
- develop an informal network of 100 young EuropeanChangeMakers (ECM) who are leading by example from all project participant nations;

- arrange a European civic hackathon with over 100 participants from all project participating nations, with the goal of talking, reflecting, offering real solutions for Europe's future, and presenting them in the form of a White Paper to at least 100 European and national stakeholders.

- publish and promote the EuropeanChangeMakers site, which is linked to the #euroCM hashtag on social media and brings together all of the project's content, including vlogs, opinions, regional best practices, solutions for the "Future of Europe," and the ECM informal network.

Le 15 mars, a marqué la date de début officielle du projet EuroChangeMakers #euroCM de 18 mois, organisé par GEYC dans le cadre du programme « Europe for Citizens », Civil Society Projects.
EuroChangeMakers vient en réponse aux défis actuels de participation démocratique rencontrés ces derniers mois dans le contexte de la pandémie de COVID-19, et vise à :
impliquer plus de 300 citoyens de tous les pays participants au projet dans 18 hackathons civiques nationaux visant à discuter, réfléchir et proposer des solutions concrètes pour l’avenir de l’Europe ;
créer un réseau informel de 100 jeunes EuropeanChangeMakers (ECM) de tous les pays participants au projet.
